Dear baycyberbeach,
Could you provide a copy of your certificate of authenticity?
Thanks,

REPLY:

A certificate is only mailed when a purchase is made.

Dear baycyberbeach,

>A certificate is only mailed when a purchase is made.

Why? I just want to see a transcript of what is written!
Is that unreasonable in any way? If so please explain?

On this secret certificate that you are unwilling to let perspective bidders see, who (person/institution) is listed as authenticating the item? Is contact info provided on the certificate? Do you understand the reason for authentication? If so, please explain how your CoA will validate your claims?
Thanks

Why?
To try and stop counterfeiting and to protect those who have purchased and those that will purchase.

Having a look at the certificate is what someone planning to sell fake meteorite spheres would want to see, so that they could reproduce it.
As you are probably aware, fake merchandise is a huge problem in our modern world.
Please don’t take that statement personally, as I am not saying that is your intention. You did ask the question and I gave you the answer.

The contact person is myself and the name is on the certificate. Contact info is not provided on the certificate.

I guess you’re not aware of this, but COAs, have no formal government regulations, or an agency to control them. They are freely written by anyone selling an original product and by the dreaded counterfeiters. In short, a COA is only as good as the person selling the product and authentication can be made by anyone without proof of their integrity.

I don’t like the system for producing COAs, but until changes are made, that’s all we have.

The few meteorite spheres I have, were retrieved from an underground mine in the 50s, and to the best of my knowledge are the only ones in existence.

If you don’t feel comfortable with what I have said, then at least you have the freedom of choice.

Anyway, have a good day

(Very Easy choice to make! - Seller offers NO proof of incredible claim in auction NOR does he establish authenticity or credibility with 'secret COA policy' - Is he losing his marbles?)
